- I haven't seen the article you talk about (never seem to get around to
- buying mags) but I do remember the questions. I have had a working "dynamic
- compilation" engine going since early last year. Since then it has just
- become more intelligent and handle more processor
- modes/features/instructions. PC-Task V4 still has no release date set but I
- was hoping for last month but of course it didn't happen because it wasn't
- ready and it is still not.

-
- Well I don't think it is really needed. HardFiles are handled quite simply
- by the inbuilt creator and for partitions I don't want to touch them, best
- for people just to simply set aside a partition using HDToolBox and give it
- to PC-Task as outlined in the manual (which needs to make it clearer).

-
- All nice but the program should where possible make the right choices for
- the best outcome. It already has gfx update method options and the user
- will probably have the choice between dynamic/interpretive cpu emulation.

-
- Yes would help speed but market is even smaller than the tiny Amiga market
- left. Time again.

-
- Believe me it makes _very little_ difference and the faster the machine the
- smaller the difference it makes. Who's going to write the hardware hitting
- drivers for all the video cards/Hard disks etc etc. Time is much better
- spent on the emulation methods. Look at Transformer it took over the system
- and is slower than PCT.

-
- Well you should be more than extremely happy then. :-)

-
- I can't remember what stage the engine was at then. I spend too much time
- on PCT.

-
- No www page just email address:- pctask@quasar.dialix.oz.au
